Last Words Series - Hemingway

15.00

This series is a collection of prints inspired by the last words of various artists, authors, scientists and pioneering human beings who have influenced us in some way or another. Their last words are sometimes premeditated, while others are captured before they meet their abrupt or unexpected end.

Ernest Hemingway is considered to be one of the greatest 20th century American novelist. His simple yet powerful prose helped shaped American literature as we know it today. He was a noble prize winner and lifetime adventurer, surviving a plane crash, blood poisoning, and mortar shells in World War I. Hemingway committed suicide at his Idaho home at the age of 61. His last words were to his wife before she went to sleep.
